ABOUT THE HUMAN CAPITAL INTERNSHIP
If you are interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, this 10-week summer internship will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm. During your time with us, you will gain exposure to:
Day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, employee records, and benefits administration
Core tasks such as training event support, employment verification requests, and managing calendar logistics
HR reporting and project work, including documentation and process improvement initiatives
Recruiting and interview coordination, including scheduling and candidate communication
Compliance and privacy best practices for handling confidential information
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT POINT72
In addition to the learning and development you'll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:
Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources
Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
WHAT'S REQUIRED
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between winter 2026 --summer 2027
Ability to work on-site in New York or Stamford, CT
Demonstrated experience with administrative tasks or coursework in human resources, business, or a related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Intellectual curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn and contribute
Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary is $75,000 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
