We are seeking an Account Director to join our global Airline IT team, where innovation knows no borders. This team leads with impact—helping airlines implement advanced technology for reservations, retailing and operations to improve efficiency and the traveler experience. As an Account Director for South Asia, you will be the primary strategic architect for our most significant enterprise airline accounts. Based in New Delhi, you will manage a portfolio of key airline groups, ensuring that the technology solutions at Sabre drive their digital transformation and commercial success. This role is designed for a high-impact leader who can navigate the complexities of massive airline organizations and deliver value that resonates at the highest levels of the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic account planning and commercial execution for key airline groups across South Asia.
Direct multi-million dollar contract negotiations and high-stakes renewals by aligning the technology portfolio at Sabre with the long-term strategic roadmaps of our partners.
Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, providing deep industry insights on digital retailing, distribution and operational excellence to influence high-level decision making.
Orchestrate global cross-functional teams across product, delivery, marketing and support to ensure the seamless execution of complex enterprise implementations.
Drive the adoption of next-generation retailing strategies to maximize revenue growth and enhance the competitive position of enterprise clients.
Preferred qualifications and education
Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise-level sales, account management or strategic leadership within the airline IT or travel technology industry.
Proven track record of managing multi-year commercial relationships and closing high-value deals with large-scale global carriers.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand complex technology ecosystems and translate business requirements into strategic solutions.
Bonus: Functional expertise in Passenger Service Systems, GDS distribution, APIs and modern airline retailing frameworks.
Exceptional executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build enduring partnerships in a complex matrixed environment.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking required to navigate the unique market dynamics, regulatory environments and business challenges of South Asia.
