The Advanced Coordinator, Production Operations leads the production teams for IA and AU on night shift, to ensure key metrics (KPI's) for Safety, Quality, Delivery & Productivity are achieved. This role works closely with the Supervisor, Production Operations.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Operations team located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co Clare, and will be based fully on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and coordinate night‑shift operations across the IA and AU Valuestreams, working autonomously within established procedures.
Plan and prioritize work allocation to meet production targets and customer requirements, providing Supervisor cover when required.
Drive performance by managing KPIs through Tier 1 Daily Management and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Foster a positive, high‑engagement environment within the Fillpack production team, supporting training and development of new employees.
Ensure GMP, quality, and safety standards are consistently met and communicated, including line clearance, audits, and Batch History Record compliance.
Promote and enforce company policies, with a strong focus on health & safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent with 6+ years relevant experience and strong quality systems knowledge.
Ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and support team objectives in a fast‑paced operational setting.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, and proven capability developed through on‑the‑job experience.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with understanding of GMP standards, quality systems, and production documentation;
Prior exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is an advantage.
Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience.
Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
