Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Build and maintain detailed financial models to project cash flows, returns, and sensitivities for energy investments, supporting investment decisions.
Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentation materials for internal investment committees and senior stakeholders.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including commercial, technical, regulatory, and financial analysis.
Perform financial and economic analysis, including valuation, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for review by senior management.
Monitor and analyze energy market trends, including power prices, supply-demand dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate new investment opportunities and drive value creation across portfolios.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
Experience in investing, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Understanding of energy markets, including renewables, conventional power, and/or infrastructure assets preferred.
High attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets and assumptions.
Strong interest in developing expertise in energy investing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and collaborate effectively.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
