Our Division: Trimble's Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) division provides connected SaaS solutions and BIM technologies that transform how the building industry plans, designs, builds, and operates physical assets.
What Makes This Role Great:
In this high-impact growth position, you will own the end-to-end strategy for net-new logo acquisition across Mumbai and its surrounding region. Working closely with senior leadership, you will have the autonomy to establish regional sales goals, analyze market trends, and introduce innovative sales techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Lead Generation, and Presales—while commanding conversations with executive stakeholders across the construction tech landscape.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Net-New Logo Acquisition: Spearhead regional sales execution to acquire net-new enterprise accounts, expand Trimble's customer base, and drive new software subscription revenue.
Sales Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with sales leadership to build annual territory plans, manage budgets, and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Cross-Functional Execution: Partner seamlessly with internal teams—including Presales, Lead Generation, and Marketing—to deliver high-impact presentations and drive deals from initial plan to close.
Market Intelligence & Innovation: Analyze regional market trends, uncover untapped growth opportunities, and initiate creative marketing strategies to maximize sales while optimizing cost.
Industry Representation: Represent Trimble AECO at key industry trade shows, conventions, and promotional events to build strong executive networks and elevate brand visibility.
Essential Skills & Experience
Professional Experience: 8–10+ years of dedicated professional experience in enterprise field sales, with a proven focus on acquiring new accounts and driving pipeline growth.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is Mandatory.
SaaS & Construction Domain: Hands-on expertise selling Software as a Service (SaaS) and subscription-based products specifically tailored to the construction and building tech (AECO) sectors.
Consultative Influence: Proven ability to communicate, present, and credibly influence decisions at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
Sales Execution: Demonstrated track record of independently managing the entire sales lifecycle from territory prospecting to complex contract closing.
Bonus Points For:
Advanced Business Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sales & Marketing.
Technical Background: Background as a Visionary Engineer or hands-on experience as a BIM Field Sales Expert.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional oral, written, phone, and digital communication skills tailored to fast-paced subscription sales environments.
