Boeing’s Boeing Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking an Associate Technical Designer to join our Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) team to execute the drawing and model work that keeps facility records current and usable. This role will be based in Hazelwood, MO; while also providing support to multiple sites within the East region.
As a Technical Designer, you will perform standards-compliant drawing and model production updates for internal modifications and project reintegration, support backlog remediation and provide practical site-level insight to help the region maintain trusted digital records across multiple sites within the region.
Position Responsibilities:
Execute drawing updates and model modifications based on approved scope and priority
Integrate redlines and as-built conditions into authoritative drawings/models following established standards
Support project reintegration activities; reconcile delivered packages into master records as requested
Complete backlog burn down tasks (legacy cleanup, standardization, drawing/model consolidation) as scheduled
Perform self-checks using QA checklists; respond to BIM Lead review comments and minimize rework
Maintain clear documentation of changes for traceability and configuration control.
Provide site/discipline insight to Coordinators and BIM Leads to improve scoping, sequencing and risk identification
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (depending on regional need), with ability to produce/modify construction documents
Comfort working from redlines, field markups and as-built documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow naming conventions, standards and QA checklists
Up to 10% domestic travel
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
1+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit software
1+ years of experience with Autodesk AutoCAD
Experience with AutoCAD and other drafting tools
Able to travel up to 10% domestically
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience supporting multi-site facilities portfolios or high-change industrial environments
3+ years of experience in AutoCAD and Revit (moving between 2D records and 3D models)
Experience with record reconciliation and digital handover packages (as-builts, record drawings, model turnover)
Experience with model coordination environments and drawing/model governance best practices
Experience with the ability to reduce rework through disciplined self-QA and standards adherence

Summary Pay Range: $59,500 - $80,500
