Business Financial Manager, Mid
The Opportunity:
Support a fast-paced, innovation-focused organization in managing the full life cycle of large-scale Research and Development (R&D) efforts. Become part of a cross-functional team working to shape, solicit, procure, and execute complex programs. Apply advanced program and project management skills by constructing project plans and coordinating program meetings for the client. Assist in budgeting and financial execution functions, including assisting with program budget analysis, forecasting, and active execution tracking, drafting funding documents, and creating briefings and reports to keep the clients fully apprised of program financials and deliverable progress. Use the client’s financial management system to support procurement activities. Coordinate with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officer Representatives in the creation and coordination of acquisition funding documents, including preparing, coordinating, and evaluating federal funding solicitations. Apply advanced skills through document creation and administrative and logistical coordination, including managing the federal client’s calendar and scheduling travel on their behalf. Analyze innovative solutions to complex problems. Execute independently in a fast-paced environment directly with Government Program Managers and other federal clients.
You Have:
5+ years of experience analyzing federal government budgeting and financial management
2+ years of experience with Cooperative Agreements or Transaction Agreements
Experience in assisting with analysis and support for federal R&D projects
Experience with programs, including supporting budget and schedule creation, and tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
Experience supporting schedule, budget, and program risks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with new program acquisition, solicitations, and contracting actions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
