Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Transient Sales Manager / Corporate Group Blocks to drive room revenue through the solicitation, development, and management of corporate accounts and group room block opportunities. This position is responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and maximizing hotel occupancy and revenue through strategic sales efforts focused on business transient travelers and corporate group bookings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Transient Sales
Prospect, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts to generate business transient room nights and revenue.
Manage and grow existing negotiated corporate accounts through regular communication, site visits, and account reviews.
Conduct outside sales calls, networking events, and client appointments to develop new business opportunities.
Participate in annual corporate RFP processes and negotiate preferred rates with key accounts.
Monitor production reports and adjust sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Maintain accurate account information, activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
Corporate Group Blocks
Generate and secure corporate group room block business for training programs, project teams, relocations, meetings, and other corporate events.
Collaborate with meeting planners, executive assistants, and corporate travel managers to identify group opportunities.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and room block agreements in a timely manner.
Conduct hotel site visits and presentations for prospective clients.
Partner with Operations and Revenue Management teams to ensure successful execution of contracted business.
Monitor pickup, rooming lists, and block utilization to maximize revenue opportunities.
Sales Planning and Reporting
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on achieving room night and revenue goals.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and lead generation.
Provide weekly sales activity reports, forecasts, and production updates.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
Attend hotel sales meetings and contribute to overall revenue strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
Experience in business transient sales, corporate accounts, or group sales strongly preferred.
Knowledge of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles, and contract negotiations.
Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Delphi / Salesforce, PEP, Hilton Platform and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client appointments and networking events.
Performance Expectations

Conduct a minimum number of weekly prospecting calls, emails, appointments, and site visits.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified corporate prospects.
Generate new business while growing existing accounts.
