About the role We’re looking for a strategic finance leader to join Reddit’s International Strategic Finance team, acting as a core partner to International Sales leadership across LCS, Mid-Market, SMB, and Channel Partnerships to drive growth, planning, and execution. This is not a FP&A or reporting role. You will sit at the center of how our international business scales, owning key parts of the P&L, shaping investment decisions, and bringing clarity in a fast growing, high ambiguity environment. You’ll be expected to move beyond analysis and into decision making and influence: not just explaining what happened, but helping determine what we should do next. You will operate as the second International Strategic Finance hire, helping build systems and discipline to scale the business globally while acting as a key voice in driving profitable growth. What you’ll do Act as a financial steward for the business, ensuring profitability is embedded in all decisions while supporting continued growth Evaluate trade offs across revenue, cost, and investment with a focus on long term value Work with stakeholders to ensure growth initiatives are both scalable and economically sound Partner directly with International Sales leadership to: Diagnose performance drivers Influence investment and resource allocation decisions Lead forecasting for key segments, ensuring clear linkage between pipeline, productivity, and revenue Build and institutionalize P&L performance management, including KPI review cadences Translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders Partner cross functionally across Finance, RevOps, Product, Marketing, and Accounting Some travel may be required (US / Amsterdam) as the team and business continue to scale. About you 5–8+ years of experience in: Strategic Finance / FP&A (preferably SaaS or tech) Investment banking (TMT preferred) Private equity or growth equity, ideally with exposure to portfolio companies or operating environments Consulting or deals with exposure to operating businesses P&L fluent with a clear focus on driving profitable growth: You understand how businesses make money and evaluate trade-offs across growth, cost, and investment You act as the voice of financial discipline in the room Analysis is second nature: You move quickly from data to insight You anticipate key questions and shape analysis to drive decisions You use data to challenge thinking and improve outcomes Comfortable operating in ambiguity; you structure problems and move forward without perfect inputs Strong modeling skills (Excel/Sheets) and SQL familiarity Strong communicator with a high ownership mindset How you work You don’t want to report on the business, you want to shape it You naturally think in “ what should we do” instead of “what happened” You challenge stakeholders and ensure alignment on the right decisions You operate with intensity, curiosity, and a bias toward action Why this role is exciting True operator and builder You’ll be the second international Strategic Finance hire International is one of Reddit’s fastest growing, highest priority focus areas.
