Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts ranging from services agreements to employment contracts
- Provide relevant advice to customers and employees where appropriate
- Work closely with business colleagues to provide legal solutions that are business-oriented
- Collaborate with legal colleagues in preparing templates, guides, playbooks, processes and/or manuals
- Being the point of contact for any Australian related matters the company is involved in
- Work across various Australia/New Zealand related projects
Key Requirements:
- Must be geographically based in Australia
- Qualified to practice in Australia
- 3-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential), a strong background in cross border employment law matters is ideal
- You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally
- You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You are fluent in English (other European or Asian languages are a plus)
