WHO YOU ARE Accounting majors preferred but will consider other business-related majors Very strong knowledge of Excel including experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, etc. Classes or experience in Audit highly preferred Willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump into anything needed RESPONSIBILITIES Performing testing of internal controls. Becoming familiar with SOX software for purposed of documenting results Learning how to use our ledger/ERP software for purposes of puling testing support Communicating with personal throughout the company for testing related requests Documenting progress in the completion of tasks and regularly report to manager on progress Supporting the account and tax function on ad hoc projects Assist in ensuring the company is meeting its SOX requirements Providing support in various tasks, increasing the efficiency of accounting personnel ADDITIONAL DETAILS Assist and enable LendingTree to meet it’s annual SOX 404 program requirements Ensure LendingTree’s controls are operating at an effective level Look for efficiencies to be had in LendingTree’s control testing processes The Summer internship is a full-time program.
