Job Description
Job Description:
We’re hiring a senior content leader who can build and run a high-performing, revenue-aligned content engine. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and operational rigor. You’ll own our editorial vision and ensure content directly supports demand generation, product marketing, and sales priorities. You’ll manage a Content Marketing Manager and a Copywriter while building the systems, workflows, and KPIs that keep production on track.
This is a player-coach role: strategic enough to shape narrative, hands-on enough to ensure every asset ships on time and drives impact.
What You’ll Own
Content Strategy & Narrative
Develop and evolve the company’s content strategy aligned to GTM priorities
Translate product positioning into compelling thought leadership and campaign content
Build quarterly editorial roadmaps tied to revenue initiatives and ABM programs
Ensure consistency of voice and messaging across channels
Leverage the use of AI tools to improve efficiency without compromising on quality (e.g. Jasper)
Editorial Operations & Project Management
Build and manage the end-to-end content production workflow (brief → draft → review → channel alignment → publish → distribute)
Own editorial calendar and capacity planning
Establish SLAs across Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales
Implement project management rigor (Asana, etc.)
Manage external freelancers and agencies as needed
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a Content Marketing Manager and Copywriter
Provide clear briefs, feedback, and performance direction
Elevate quality, speed, and accountability across the team
Measurement & Optimization
Define KPIs for content performance (engagement, influenced pipeline, conversion)
Partner with Demand Gen to track MQL → SQL contribution
Report on impact and continuously optimize based on performance data
Why This Role Is Unique
You’ll have real ownership. This isn’t a content strategist role buried inside brand marketing. You’ll directly shape how our company shows up in market and how content drives measurable business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years in B2B content marketing (SaaS, adtech, fintech, or similar preferred)
Experience managing at least 1–2 direct reports
High operational discipline — deadlines matter
Proven ability to tie content programs to pipeline and revenue outcomes
Strong editorial judgment and writing instincts
Demonstrated success building repeatable production workflows
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Experience using project management programs and AI content tools (e.g. Asana, Monday, Jasper, etc.)
You Might Be a Fit If You:
Think in systems, not just stories
Can zoom out to shape narrative and zoom in to fix a headline
Are equally comfortable in a content brainstorm and a KPI dashboard
Value clarity, ownership, and execution
