We work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer teams to build awareness, generate demand, and create experiences that bring our mission — helping frontier labs and enterprises put AI to work with better data — to life. About the Role We're looking for a Lead Field Marketing & Events to own and execute Snorkel AI's in-person and hybrid event strategy. This is a high-impact IC role for someone who thrives on building memorable, well-orchestrated experiences — from flagship conferences to intimate community meetups. You'll partner closely with sales, partnerships, research, and the broader marketing team to drive lead generation, strengthen our AI community, and amplify Snorkel's presence in the market. This role is based in San Francisco, Bay Area. Responsibilities Event Strategy & Execution: Plan, manage, and execute a full calendar of events including industry conferences, trade shows, Snorkel-hosted meetups, our annual user conference, and partner co-marketing activations. Field Marketing Programs: Design and run regional field programs that support pipeline generation and accelerate deals in partnership with the sales team. AI Community Engagement: Build and nurture Snorkel's presence in the broader AI and ML community through meetups, developer-focused events, and grassroots activations that foster genuine connection and dialogue. Partner Co-Marketing: Collaborate with technology and channel partners on joint events and co-branded experiences that extend reach and credibility. Budget & Vendor Management: Own the events budget, negotiate contracts with venues and vendors, and ensure every dollar drives measurable impact. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with demand generation, content, product marketing, sales, and design to ensure events are tightly integrated into broader campaigns and GTM motions. Measurement & Optimization: Define KPIs for each event, track performance (leads, pipeline influence, engagement), and apply learnings to continuously raise the bar. About You You're equal parts creative producer and detail-obsessed operator. You have an intuition for what makes a field experience feel vibrant, engaging, and worth showing up to — and the organizational rigor to pull it off flawlessly. You're passionate about AI and technology, energized by the pace of a high-growth startup, and motivated by building community as much as building pipeline. Requirements 5–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or experiential marketing in B2B technology, SaaS, or AI/ML Proven track record of planning and executing events end-to-end — from large-scale conferences and trade shows to curated executive dinners and community meetups Experience supporting sales pipeline goals through field programs and regional activations Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable partnering with sales, partnerships, product, and creative teams A sharp eye for experience design — you care deeply about the attendee journey, from signage and swag to content and conversation flow Familiarity with event management platforms, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation systems Experience with community-building programs, developer events, or technical audiences is a strong plus A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and a desire to be part of a company shaping the future of enterprise AI Salary Range $155,000—$240,000 USD Be Your Best at Snorkel Joining Snorkel AI means becoming part of a company that has market proven solutions, robust funding, and is scaling rapidly—offering a unique combination of stability and the excitement of high growth.
