Role summary
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Finance Team. This role will be based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will support accountants and auditors in daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone organized, responsible, and eager to grow in a dynamic work environment.

What you’ll do
Month end closing & financial analysis
Perform month end closing duties including financial analysis, reviewing full general ledger, P&L, Balance sheet according to USGAAP, and/or any local GAAP in the Asia Pacific region; Experience in consolidation is also an added advantage.
Handle accounting and taxation enquiries from clients.
Assisting any audit requirements (Internal and external).
Corporate payments
Process payment requests with relevant supporting documents and obtain proper approvals.
Handle invoice settlements and expense reimbursements.
Upload bank and ensure reconciliation of transactions to the internal system.
Assisting relevant purchasing requestors and procurement team across APAC region if needed.
Financial Projects and Process Improvements
Participate in finance transformation projects.
Define and deliver process improvements across Finance team, focusing on:
Process design/redesigning.
Time-saving opportunities.
Controls and risk assessment.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Who you are
Number sensitive and an analytical thinker as well as good at multi-tasking.
With excellent interpersonal skills, able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders across APAC region.
Self-motivated, well organized, independent, responsible, good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Willing to take up challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
Have you done this kind of stuff?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business studies or any professional accountancy qualification.
Minimum 3 years accounting experience.
Strong knowledge (and application) in accounting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS or equivalent.
Hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ ERP.
Well-versed in accounting & vendor payment processing procedures.
High level of written and spoken English & Chinese.
Experience in managing Asia Pacific region (or multiple regions).
Not a must but a great advantage:
Experience in Power BI/ Business Central ERP / Microsoft Dynamics (NAV).
Experience in cross-border e-commerce, online payment industry.
Prior experience in engaging outsourced bookkeeping team.
