What You Will Do
The Associate People Partner supports the delivery of core HR operations and programs to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across one or more divisions. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day people processes across the employee lifecycle, maintaining data accuracy, and serving as a primary point of contact for employees and managers. Working under general direction, the Associate People Partner applies foundational HR knowledge to solve routine problems, partners closely with People Business Partners (PBPs), and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable people solutions. This role contributes to operational excellence, compliance, and the effective execution of People initiatives.
Employee Lifecycle Operations
Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth new hire experience
Manage employee changes including transfers, promotions, and exits
Support probation reviews, performance cycles, and employee transitions
Oversee offboarding processes, including documentation and exit coordination
HR Systems & Data Management
Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and other HR systems
Process employee transactions and organizational changes with attention to detail
Support requisition and hiring workflows in partnership with Talent teams
Conduct regular data audits and generate standard reports
Employee Support & Compliance
Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries
Provide guidance on policies, processes, and available resources
Support administration of employee relations (ER) matters and escalate as appropriate
Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable employment laws
Maintain strict confidentiality in all employee matters
Program & Project Support
Partner with PBPs to support execution of performance, talent, and compensation programs
Assist with engagement survey follow-up actions and tracking
Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and divisional activities
Contribute to HR communications, documentation, and team deliverables
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with People Team functions (Talent, Experience & Engagement, ER, Mobility, etc.)
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of people programs
Support divisional needs while contributing to scalable, company-wide initiatives
People Partnership & Advisory
Act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers
Provide guidance to managers on performance processes, feedback, and goal setting
Support creation and tracking of development plans (PDPs/PIPs) in partnership with PBPs
Escalate complex employee relations or performance concerns appropriately
Assist in conducting exit interviews and sharing insights with HR leadership
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2+ year of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field
Foundational knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management
Familiarity with HR systems (Workday preferred) and data handling practices
Basic understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Strong organizational and follow-through skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute routine processes independently
Clear and effective communication with transparency and professionalism
Demonstrates sound judgment in handling employee queries and data
Developing ability to assess when to escalate or redirect requests
Builds collaborative relationships across teams and functions
Proactively seeks feedback and continuously improves ways of working
