The Role:
The Senior Manager, Enabling Services is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for bridging Moderna’s foundational SAP ecosystem with next-generation Intelligent Supply Chain capabilities, including automation, advanced analytics, and agentic AI.
This role translates technical capabilities into business value by identifying, prioritizing, and accelerating high-impact digital opportunities across Plan-Source-Make-Deliver.
Operating as a key integrator across SAP Business Process Owners, SAP Solution Architects, Digital, and Intelligent Supply Chain teams, this role ensures that innovation is grounded in scalable, compliant SAP processes while enabling rapid value realization.
This is a high-visibility role requiring enterprise thinking, shaping the roadmap, driving execution, and ensuring Moderna’s transition toward a digitally enabled, insight-driven, and increasingly autonomous supply chain.
Here's What You’ll Do
SAP-to-Intelligent Supply Chain Enablement
Bridge Moderna’s SAP S4/HANA, MDG, IBP, and Veeva ecosystem with next-generation Intelligent Supply Chain capabilities by translating foundational system capabilities into scalable digital solutions.
Partner closely with CMC, GSC, Digital, and Enabling Services & MD COE to shape solutions that are extensible, interoperable, and designed to support future-state digital and AI capabilities.
Drive the advancement of a decision-intelligence and increasingly autonomous supply chain by enabling the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics within core business processes.
Strategic Enablement & Value Realization
Lead structured identification of high-impact opportunities through continuous improvement events, cross-functional workshops, and value stream analysis, translating insights into a prioritized and outcome-driven roadmap.
Drive disciplined, agile execution of initiatives with a clear focus on measurable business value, including efficiency gains, cycle time reduction, data quality improvement, and enhanced decision-making.
Enterprise Bridging & Orchestration
Serve as the primary integrator across Global Supply Chain, CMC, Finance, SAP delivery teams, and Intelligent Supply Chain/Digital functions, ensuring alignment between business priorities, technical feasibility, and execution.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Identify and mitigate systemic process and compliance risks while driving global standardization, continuous improvement, disciplined program governance, and adherence to GxP, financial, and regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Autonomy
Operate with high discretion and executive influence, shaping enterprise prioritization and investment decisions while mentoring teams and serving as a strategic partner to Supply Chain and CMC leadership.
Breaking down complex issues into simple blocks for presentation to executive management and enabling prompt and actionable decision-making.
Development and delivery of reports, presentations, or recommendations to an executive audience.
Serving as a Global Supply Chain resource for special projects and initiatives.
Working under minimal supervision in line with Moderna Values and Mindsets.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, MDG, IBP, and Veeva in a supply chain environment
Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience with change control, SOP development, and GxP-regulated environments
Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions, working effectively across diverse teams
Familiarity with advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML concepts and their application in supply chain
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage from operational teams to executive leadership
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
Education: BA/BS preferred in supply chain management, logistics, engineering and/or business administration with experience in pharmaceutical data management and project management
Experience: 5+ years (BA/BS) or 3+ years (MS) in various Supply Chain, Project Management, and Manufacturing functions (strong preference towards Pharmaceutical and Biotech experience)
Expertise with SAP S4 Hana, data quality tools, and methodologies.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in master data management
Certification in data management or related disciplines
Well organized – a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work

Good presentation and preparation skills to visualize complex content in an easy to view manner
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is $130,800.00 - $209,400.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
