POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is a senior, field-based leader responsible for full regional ownership of Mirum’s cholestatic disease portfolio in Spain. Acting as both a scientific and commercial partner, the RAM independently manages their region as a business, driving strategy, execution, and sustainable growth.
This role requires demonstrated success in launching and growing products in rare or highly specialized markets. The RAM develops and executes an integrated regional business plan, leads high-quality scientific exchange, and builds trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the RAM identifies regional priorities, translates insights into actionable strategies, and ensures full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the regional cholestatic science and business owner, accountable for regional performance and impact
Develop and execute strategic regional business plans aligned with national objectives
Build, develop, and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and institutional stakeholders
Drive high-quality scientific exchange to increase awareness and understanding of Mirum’s products and disease areas
Analyze business and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating insights into concrete actions
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Compliance) to deliver integrated solutions
Act as a role model for Mirum’s culture of compliance, integrity, and transparency
Lead change through influence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Motivated to assume additional marketing and/or sales management responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 years of experience in the healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry, including at least 4 years in a field-based role
Proven success launching and growing products in rare, orphan, or highly specialized disease areas. Liver disease highly valuable.
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding business objectives
Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Established professional network in GI and/or hepatology strongly preferred
Experience in paediatric and/or orphan disease settings is an advantage
Regional market access proven experience
Strong experience managing hospital pharmacists
Strong understanding of competitive market dynamics
Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
Consistent adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
High ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions
Willingness to travel approximately 70%, including overnight travel
Availability for occasional evening and weekend commitments (e.g., congresses, advocacy events)
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
