Are you a STEM student curious about how a global scientific leader keeps thousands of laboratories running every day? Join our EMEAI Service Contact Center in Barcelona and learn how we coordinate and deliver technical service across the region.
This internship is ideal for students who want to apply scientific or engineering knowledge in an operational, customer‑focused environment.
What You Will Do:
As a Customer Service Operations Intern, you will support the daily coordination of service for Agilent customers:
Assist with scheduling installations, maintenance, and repairs with Field Service Engineers and internal teams.
Support day‑to‑day planning across multiple countries, balancing changing priorities and real‑time requests.
Learn how operational decisions impact customer satisfaction and service quality.
Strengthen organizational and multitasking skills while working within defined processes.
Contribute to light project coordination (tracking progress, risks, and updates).
Develop professional communication skills through interaction with engineers, customers, and cross‑functional teams.
What You’ll Be Exposed To

Agilent’s scientific markets (life sciences, diagnostics, chemical analysis, pharma, and more)
Our full service portfolio—from installations to repairs and service contracts
Collaboration with Field Service Engineers, Technical Support, Sales, Planning, and Service Business Managers

Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
Academic Background
Currently pursuing a STEM degree (Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Physics, Engineering, etc.).
Business students may apply only if they have a previous STEM degree, as technical understanding is essential for the role.
Ideally in the final 1–2 years of studies.
Skills & Attributes
Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent English; Spanish or other European languages are a plus
