Come join us! Available Locations: Austin, Texas About the Role Cloudflare helps build a better Internet by protecting and accelerating millions of websites, APIs, and applications worldwide. Our global network spans hundreds of cities and powers everything from small startups to large enterprises. The Self-Serve and Growth teams focus on Cloudflare’s product-led growth (PLG) business—helping users discover, activate, and expand usage across products like CDN, Security, Workers, R2, Images, and Registrar. As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll work with product managers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists to generate insights that influence product strategy and business growth. What You’ll Do Analyze product and business data to uncover trends in acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization across Cloudflare’s self-serve customers. Write SQL queries to explore large-scale datasets and build dashboards to track key metrics and experiments. Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define success metrics and answer high-impact business questions. Support A/B tests and growth experiments by measuring impact and providing recommendations. Help maintain and improve data pipelines, data models, and documentation. Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling way. Contribute to improving analytics processes, data quality, and self-serve reporting. Example Projects Build dashboards tracking user activation and feature adoption across Cloudflare products. Analyze funnel conversion from sign-up → first value → paid usage. Identify segments of users most likely to upgrade or expand product usage. Evaluate impact of product launches, pricing changes, or marketing campaigns. Support forecasting and growth modeling for self-serve revenue. Who You Are Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, or spreadsheets). Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Curiosity about product analytics, growth, and how data drives decisions. Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar). Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, or product analytics. Exposure to cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.). Interest in Internet infrastructure, security, or developer platforms.
