Job Description
We are pleased to share that Gilead’s Stockley Park and Holborn offices are planning to come together at a new London headquarters at 1 Triton Square, NW1, from approximately Q2 2027. Director, Brand Execution – HIV Treatment Mid-Size Markets

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the BIKTARVY G9 Liaison and Global Execution Lead within the Global Commercial Product Strategy team, this role will be focused on the Mid-Size markets and will be based out of the Stockley Park office.
Working closely with ACE MM LT and BUDs in markets acting as a strategic and critical advisor on key business topics (performance, opportunities, and challenges)
Coordinate regional BIKTARVY cross functional plans, to ensure strategic alignment and support effective roll out of Global strategy and Plans of Action (PoA)
Communicate the global commercial strategy for BIKTARVY to the respective countries to maintain and expand our market position, ensuring the strategy is well-understood to facilitate local execution
Listen and bring country insights into global forums
Champion the global brand profile, messaging and value proposition with local markets. Transfer key learnings and insights between the global marketing team and local markets
Inform Global PoA process, particularly identifying global initiatives that address key countries priorities and needs
Support the development of local PoA, in close alignment with Global strategy and PoA, acting as a thought partner with local counterparts, providing feedback and input and identify and embed best practices
Equip the countries with materials, tools and above/ cross country initiatives to drive performance.
Collect, appraise and disseminate commercial tactical best practices across local markets. Participate in working sessions and discussions/ lead regional forums to share practices and coordinate the execution of the global strategy
Monitor the performance within the region and support forecasting and LE process in close collaboration with the Mid-Size Markets Leadership and Global Commercial Operations
Ensure local teams are prepared and understand the HIV portfolio positioning ahead of future product launches
Your ultimate benchmark will be the successful local execution of the global commercial strategy across your countries, driving BIKTARVY performance
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
We’re seeking a strategic, experienced marketing expert with:
B.A. or B.S. required, MBA and/or advanced degree in life sciences or medical degree preferred
At least 12 years of relevant commercial experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
HIV Strategic and operational experience at country level as BUD or G9 Marketing Lead
Experience in local or regional product strategy and annual plan implementation
Ability to develop and implement launch preparedness, tactical planning and secure budget management
A proven track record in cross-geography collaboration and as a business partner with multiple stakeholders, directly working with the teams in the matrix to achieve overall objectives
Very strong facilitation and counseling skills, particularly with individuals from diverse work cultures
Competitive mindset and ability to focus and prioritize
Highly resourceful and strategic thinker with strong emotional intelligence, operational rigor and project management capabilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences and executives
Strong strategic and analytical skills
