Purpose of the Role The E-Commerce & Omni-Channel Development Lead is responsible for accelerating the growth of Abbott Nutrition's digital commerce business by developing and executing e-commerce and omni-channel strategies across key customers, marketplaces, pharmacy chains, quick commerce platforms, and direct-to-consumer touchpoints. The role will drive sustainable growth of Abbott's Nutrition portfolio by enhancing digital shelf excellence, improving online shopper engagement, optimizing customer journeys, and creating seamless omni-channel experiences that support both healthcare professional recommendations and consumer purchasing behavior. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Digital teams, the role ensures Abbott Nutrition brands are effectively represented and activated across all digital channels while maintaining compliance with company and healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce Strategy & Growth Develop and execute Abbott Nutrition's e-commerce and omni-channel growth strategy in line with business objectives. Deliver annual sales, market share, and profitability targets across digital channels. Identify growth opportunities across pure-play e-commerce, pharmacy e-commerce, marketplaces, quick commerce, and omni-retail customers. Build joint business plans with key e-commerce partners to accelerate category and brand growth. Omni-Channel Development Lead the development of seamless consumer and shopper experiences across online and offline channels. Drive omni-channel initiatives that connect healthcare professional engagement, retail activation, pharmacy recommendations, and digital conversion. Partner with customer teams to develop integrated online-to-offline activation plans. Support implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve customer engagement and purchasing convenience. Digital Shelf Excellence Ensure best-in-class product content across all digital platforms. Improve product discoverability through search optimization, category placement, content enhancement, and digital merchandising. Monitor digital shelf KPIs including: Availability Content compliance Search rankings Ratings & reviews Share of search Establish governance and execution standards across all e-commerce partners. Shopper Marketing & Consumer Engagement Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to develop digital-first activation plans. Drive online campaigns, media investments, and promotional activities to increase traffic and conversion. Support shopper journey optimization using first party and retailer data. Develop initiatives that increase consumer loyalty, retention, and repeat purchase rates. Analytics & Business Performance Monitor and analyze business performance across digital channels. Develop dashboards and management reports tracking: Sales Market share Traffic Conversion Basket size ROI Leverage data and insights to identify growth opportunities and improve commercial effectiveness. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Supply Chain & Distributers to ensure product availability and reduce out-of-stock occurrences. Work closely with Medical Affairs and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance of digital content and communications. Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, investment tracking, and profitability management. Support digital transformation initiatives across the commercial organization. Omni-Channel Program Adoption. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Digital Commerce, or related field. MBA preferred. Additional certifications in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Analytics, or Commercial Excellence are advantageous. Experience 8+ years of experience in FMCG, Healthcare, Nutrition, Consumer Health, or Retail industries. Minimum 3-5 years leading e-commerce and/or omni-channel commercial functions. Strong experience managing key online retailers, pharmacy chains, and marketplace platforms. Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth through digital commerce channels.
