Test Engineer – Secure Connected Edge (SCE)
Business Unit Description
NXP’s Secure Connected Edge (SCE) business unit offers high-performance multicore solutions that transport, analyze and secure data from the edge of the network to the cloud.
Job Summary:
Understand IP documentation for test related requirements.
Develop test and characterization software for ATE (Automated Test Equipment).
Develop test cases for complex mixed-signal IP.
Define test hardware requirements, and review hardware designs.
Debug test software, test hardware, and Silicon bugs.
Support new products from bring-up through qualification and productization.
Assure IP outgoing quality, reliability and performance.
Implement strategies to reduce test time (cost savings).
Work collaboratively to solve problems and identify test coverage gaps between global design, verification, design-for-test (DFT), validation and product engineering teams.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
Understanding of Microcontroller and Applications processor architectures.
Proficiency in both reading and writing code.
Knowledge of C/C++, VBA, Java, Python, Ruby along with analog circuit and transmission line theory are beneficial.
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with cross functional teams.
Self-motivated individual.
