Job Description
We are looking for an analytical professional to join our Fraud Investigation team at Accenture Argentina, with proven experience in conducting internal investigations. The ideal candidate will work on forensic investigation cases related to fraud, including Time and Expenses matters, reviewing reports of fraud, abuse, or improper employee expenses, and compiling well-documented and comprehensive case files.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive, objective, and timely investigations into allegations of fraud, abuse, or misconduct involving internal employees. Collect, review, and analyze documentation, evidence, and data to assess the full scope of each case and establish clear fact patterns.
Identify fraud trends, behavioral indicators, root causes, and individuals involved, evaluating potential risks and impact on the organization.
Perform in-depth analytical reviews of suspicious activities, escalate matters involving suspected or confirmed fraud, and support leadership with well-documented findings and recommendations. Contribute to the design and enhancement of fraud detection rules by providing analytical insights and forensic outcomes.
Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen investigation tools, methodologies, and information-sharing processes.
Support fraud-related audits by evaluating audit results, sharing best practices, and contributing to the development and follow-up of corrective action plans.
• Assist with the evaluation of audit results pertinent to fraud cases, develop action plans and provide recommendations on actions towards investigated employees, and track audit finding remediation activities in an efficient manner.
Required Skills
Proven experience conducting complex fraud investigations
Strong analytical and forensic skills, with the ability to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies
Experience handling sensitive, confidential, and high-risk cases with professionalism and discretion
Solid understanding of fraud risk, internal controls, audits, and compliance frameworks
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent – Desired
• English level: Advanced (oral and written) – Required
• Interpersonal and communication skills to share complex and sensitive information with internal and external parties at a variety of organizational levels.
• Demonstrated competencies in communications, management/administration, decision-making/problem solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as multitasking.
• Establish and maintain active relationship within members of the team to achieve a successful teamwork environment as well as interaction with other colleagues for other locations.
