About the Role
As the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in leading the material procurement and supplier quality assurance processes for Operations in Danderyd.
As a vital member of the Operations management team, you will manage a dedicated, cross-border team of procurement professionals and support staff based in both Sweden and Hungary.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead and distribute work across Strategic Purchasing (CM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Project Purchasing (NPI).
Supply & Quality Assurance: Ensure materials are available for production at the right time, in the right quantities, and meet strict quality requirements.
Supplier Management: Evaluate, approve, and audit new suppliers to ensure they align with Trimble’s standards for quality, processes, and delivery.
Negotiations: Conduct price and logistics negotiations and establish robust quality agreements.
Financial & Resource Management: Propose and manage the department's budget, oversee personnel hiring/allocation, and handle salary proposals.
Continuous Improvement: Drive cost-effective purchasing strategies, initiate corrective actions, and foster continuous process optimization.

Qualifications
Education: University degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Quality Assurance, with a proven track record in a leadership position.
Environment: Experience working within an international, corporate ecosystem.
Languages: Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
