Industrial Relations Lead

Boeing Australia is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Lead to play a key on-the-ground role supporting the Australian business, while partnering closely with our global International Labour Relations team.
This is a senior hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution, leading IR initiatives, shaping enterprise-wide strategy, and building strong relationships with employees, leaders, and unions.
This role is based in Brisbane with hybrid working conditions.
About the Role:
Leading the planning, preparation, management and execution of enterprise agreement negotiations
Advising on industrial instruments (including enterprise agreements and Modern Awards), legislative changes and obligations, disputes, and other workplace matters
Developing and managing relationships with unions and employee representatives
Co-ordinating and administering the organisation’s consultative forums
Supporting organisational change and transformation
Coaching leaders and delivering IR capability uplift
Collaborating with Legal and HR teams
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Proven experience in IR within a large, complex geographically and professionally diverse organisation (6+ years)
Proven experience in enterprise bargaining negotiations
Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other relevant employment/industrial laws
Substantial experience in dealing with unions and employee representatives
Proven experience working with senior stakeholders
Strategic mindset with strong relationship-building skills
Australian Citizen (Defence security requirement)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Tertiary qualifications in law, industrial relations, human resource management, or a related field
