This role translates business challenges into data-driven insights, develops structured business cases, supports risk-return assessment and ensures innovation initiatives are prioritized, measured and governed with discipline. The Innovation Specialist enables informed investment decisions and reinforces the financial and strategic impact of the Latam Innovation portfolio.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
Measures performance against process requirements.
Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
Communicates team progress.
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
2–5 years in innovation, R&D, strategy, venture evaluation or business analysis.
Fluent in English and Spanish
It would be an advantage to have an intermediate level of Portuguese.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and financial modeling skills.
Experience building business cases and ROI models.
Strong track record supporting experimentation cycles, POCs/MVPs or pilot projects.
Physical location of the vacancy: Mexico City or Colombia
Nice to Have
Previous experience in healthcare, MedTech, or regulated industries.
Experience building business cases, ROI analysis or feasibility frameworks.
Success Metrics
Portfolio execution and prioritization results.
Measurable ROI or cost impact from supported initiatives.
Pilot-to-scale conversion rate of evaluated initiatives.
On-time delivery of structured business cases.
Successful execution rate of approved innovation projects.
Familiarity with innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean Startup).
Proficiency with analytical and dashboarding tools (Excel, BI platforms).
