The Oracle IT Business Analyst plays a techno‑functional role within a complex Oracle EBS 12.2.10 environment enriched with 25+ years of growth, integrations, and customizations. This position partners with stakeholders across operations, finance, manufacturing, logistics, and global supply chain to design and support enterprise solutions.
Role and responsibilities
The Oracle IT Business Analyst maximizes ASML’s investment in enterprise software by bridging business needs with technical capabilities. This role focuses on solution design, process improvement, system support, and lifecycle management across Oracle EBS and integrated cloud applications.
Partner with SMEs and business leaders to translate business challenges into clear requirements and solution designs.
Capture, document, and validate business processes, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria using text, diagrams, and visuals.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues in collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors.
Perform development and configuration activities across Oracle EBS and cloud tools (PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Forms/Reports, Workflow, OIC, Apex, ISG).
Coordinate, execute, and communicate software releases, enhancements, and lifecycle upgrades.
Support reporting, data analysis, and transaction error resolution for operational and financial teams.
Provide critical support during month‑end close, period-end activities, and other key business cycles.
Work with security teams to ensure compliance with application, data, and access standards.
Manage and guide third‑party partners to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Contribute to application lifecycle management, documentation, procurement needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
Must have 8 years of experience in Oracle EBS consulting, implementation, support, or analysis.
Experience in global, multi‑organization Oracle environments strongly preferred.
Skills
Expert knowledge of Oracle EBS value flows (O2C, P2P, S2R, R2R) with strong system administration fundamentals.
Proficiency with manufacturing, finance, logistics, field service, and inventory/discrete manufacturing modules.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL abilities (8/10) .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and present to broad audiences.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, transparency, and follow‑through.
Ability to learn quickly, interpret complex data, and adapt to shifting workloads.
Strong customer focus with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and capability to identify root causes and drive improvements.
Comfortable working independently or in teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to type 40+ WPM.
Other Information
This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$118,875-178,313
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
