LDR Manager – North Asia (China, Japan, Korea)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Shanghai, China. Seoul, Korea.
Reports To: Director, Lead Development – APAC
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and performance-driven LDR Manager to lead and scale our Lead Development function across China, Japan, and Korea. This role is critical in driving net-new pipeline generation, ensuring strong pipeline volume, value, and velocity, and building a high-performing, future-ready team.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of operational rigor, coaching excellence, and strategic stakeholder management, with a strong interest in leveraging AI and modern sales technologies to improve productivity and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & Business Impact
Own and drive net-new pipeline generation across North Asia markets
Deliver measurable impact on:
Pipeline volume
Pipeline value
Pipeline velocity
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to align on target accounts, campaigns, and conversion goals
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of LDRs across China, Japan, and Korea
Establish clear KPIs, activity benchmarks, and performance expectations
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and pipeline inspections
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence
People Development
Commit to both short-term performance improvement and long-term career development of team members
Build individual personal development plans (PDPs) and career pathways
Identify and nurture future sales talent and leaders
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as a strong liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Regional Leadership
Provide consistent, clear updates on:
Pipeline performance
Team productivity
Market insights
Influence cross-functional stakeholders to optimize pipeline generation strategies
Operational Excellence & Reporting
Drive disciplined use of CRM and sales engagement tools
Prepare and present regular performance reports, dashboards, and insights
Continuously optimize workflows, processes, and cadences for efficiency and effectiveness
AI & Productivity Enablement
Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation in LDR workflows
Identify opportunities to improve:
Prospecting efficiency
Personalization at scale
Data quality and insights
Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team
Requirements
Core Qualifications
3+ years proven experience in LDR/BDR/Inside Sales leadership
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets
Experience managing regional or multi-country teams (preferred: North Asia)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Skills & Capabilities
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret pipeline data and performance metrics
Demonstrated success in performance management and coaching
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
High level of ownership, accountability, and execution focus
Technology & Tools (Preferred)
Hands-on experience with:
Salesforce
Outreach.io (or similar sales engagement platforms)
ZoomInfo, Lusha (or equivalent data providers)
Ability to build reports and dashboards for business insights
Nice to Have
Strong interest in AI and emerging sales technologies
Experience integrating AI into sales development workflows
Exposure to automation, personalization, and data-driven prospecting techniques
