DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Senior Manager of Product Marketing at Thermo Fisher Scientific to advance strategic growth and innovation in serving science. Lead a marketing team responsible for developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies across our product portfolio. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, develop compelling value propositions, and deliver impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with customers.
In this role, you'll analyze market trends, conduct voice-of-customer research, and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive product demand and market share growth. Take responsibility for product launches, marketing collateral development, and sales enablement initiatives while ensuring alignment with our marketing strategy. Advance customer success through innovative programs and strategic partnerships that demonstrate our commitment to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Responsibilites:
Define and execute product portfolio and go-to-market strategies to drive sustainable growth across LPG businesses in China.
Act as the primary interface between LPG China and Global LPG stakeholders, including strategy, finance, and functional leaders.
Translate global priorities, expectations, and changes into clear China-level execution plans, and consolidate China feedback into structured, data-driven executive updates.
Lead preparation and alignment for global operating mechanisms, including MBRs, QBRs, AOP reviews, and ad-hoc executive discussions.
Own demand generation and product-level funnel management for LPG China, shaping healthy funnel structure and pipeline quality to support sustainable growth and AOP delivery.
Set pricing strategy, product mix, and value propositions for target segments to expand market share and profitability.
Work with Global Product & Marketing teams and local Corporate Marketing to design and execute integrated demand generation programs.
Synthesize complex commercial, financial, and operational information into clear executive-level narratives to support decision-making at China and global leadership levels.
Develop structured materials and talking points for senior executive communications, ensuring clarity, alignment, and credibility.
Build and lead a high-performing LPG China marketing and commercial team, fostering strong learning, accountability, and execution discipline.
Ensure marketing investments (people, time, budget) are deployed effectively and aligned with business priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in product marketing or related experience in a technical/scientific industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business, Science, or related field
• Proven team leadership experience managing marketing professionals in a matrix environment
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and digital marketing techniques
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing product launch strategies
• Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
• Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and channel partners
• Project management expertise with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% (domestic and international)
