Maintenance and Process Safety Management Planner
Where will you work: Onsite – Hookers Point (3222 Maritime Boulevard | Tampa, FL 33605). This position is eligible to work a 9/80 scheduled with every other Friday off.
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing detailed job plans and managing our CMMS to ensure the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work across Mosaic’s Distribution Terminals. You will support our PCMS Risk Based Inspection Program and work closely with other Maintenance and PSM Planners while reporting directly to the facility Superintendent. In this role, you will be the site’s go-to subject matter expert for maintenance planning, offering practical insight and guidance that helps keep our operations running smoothly. What you’ll do?
Maintain the site’s mechanical integrity program and manage the Risk Based Inspection program.
Train and assist site personnel on the importance of site safety
Support all documentation related to the Mechanical Integrity program.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and job plans, trigger PMs and distribute them to the appropriate personnel, and ensure PMs are completed accurately and on time.
Revise preventive maintenance activities as through the MOC process.
Develop work scopes, lead or participate in pre‑job meetings, partner with procurement to review bids, oversee contracted work, and maintain proper documentation including material certifications and contractor qualifications.
Support the upkeep of equipment records, bills of material, PMs, and other maintenance records within the CMMS.
Identify parts that should be added to inventory and provide required documentation for inclusion.
Execute responsibilities related to key PSM elements, including MOC, PSSR, PSI, and MI, and ensure planning activities align with regulatory and internal requirements.
What you’ll need:
High School/GED
3+ years of experience in process safety management, mechanical integrity, maintenance planning projects, CMMS, and/or writing, implementing, and following process safety programs
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office suite
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to set goals and objectives based on team direction
Bonus Points if you have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, process safety, occupational safety or related and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
PSM and/or Maximo SAP experience
