The Role:
Provides day to day support to the production areas to ensure that the process equipment is maintained and repaired in an effective/efficient manner to allow for production output requirements to be achieved on a routine basis.
Green Nights Sun, Mon, Tues e/o sat 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM 15% shift differential
What You’ll Do:
Perform preventive maintenance on a production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime
Troubleshoot a variety of sensors and PLC interfaces
Update work orders with required data, work hours and equipment downtime
Work with production to ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed on time
Create work orders for any issues observed during daily walk throughs, or while performing maintenance
Participate as a team player in the management & operation of the assigned work areas. Activities may include training of equipment operators, development and execution of improvement projects, etc..
Keep work areas clean and organized
Become certified in Spill Team / Hazwoper and follow all safety guidelines
Perform all activities in a safe and efficient manner
What We Seek:
5-10 years related experience or combined equivalent work and education experience.
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and comprehend drawings, control drawings and electrical schematics
Experience working with and troubleshooting with AC motors, DC motors and VFD’s
Experience working with and troubleshooting variety sensors(i.e. temperature, level, pressure etc.)
Experience with centrifugal and diaphragm pumps
Experience with replacing and rebuilding valves and actuators
Basic knowledge of clean room manufacturing and associated work practices.
Controls and PLC experience, experience working with control systems (i.e. Allen Bradly / Rockwell) a Plus
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.
Ideal candidate will have keen eye for quality, is dependable, and will work collaboratively within a team, and possess a positive attitude.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Problem Solving – Recognizes problems and understands root cause analysis techniques/concepts.

Compensation: $61,000 - $75,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role + 15% shift differential
