We support a wide range of digital payments choices, making transactions secure, seamless, and efficient across more than 200 countries and territories.
Overview
The Enterprise Intercompany Agreements & Service Governance (EISG) team is responsible for establishing and operating a global framework that governs how services are delivered across Mastercard’s legal entities. This includes defining standards, ensuring accountability through intercompany agreements (ICAs), and providing consistent, audit-ready evidence of performance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
EISG enables a “govern once, apply many” model—translating regulatory expectations into standardized, reusable governance, monitoring, and assurance practices across the enterprise.
Within this, the Assurance & Monitoring capability validates compliance, service performance, and control effectiveness across intercompany services to support regulatory defensibility and continuous improvement.
The Manager focuses on executing assurance activities at scale as part of a structured, enterprise-wide program. The Manager will own specific assessments or components of the assurance lifecycle, working with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs while contributing to the consistency and scalability of the overall assurance model.
Role
Assurance & Monitoring Execution
• Execute maturity assessments using the EISG methodology, evaluating governance, ICA and service lifecycle controls, service performance, and regulatory requirements
• Perform structured, risk-based evaluations of intercompany services through walkthroughs, evidence reviews, and validation activities, synthesizing results into clear and supportable conclusions
• Support the development of maturity ratings supported by high-quality evidence, contributing to actionable insights and practical improvement opportunities
• Prepare clear, concise reporting outputs, including draft scorecards, observations, and supporting materials for executive-level reporting
• Contribute to consistency and repeatability of execution, applying standard methodologies, templates, and evidence requirements across assessments
• Build knowledge of the EISG framework and business operating environment through hands-on execution and stakeholder engagement, supporting the development of insights that inform improvement actions
• Contribute to stakeholder discussions and remediation efforts, progressively developing subject matter expertise and credibility
AI-Enablement
• Apply AI, automation, and self service tooling to support EISG assurance activities (e.g., document analysis, workflow support, summarization), improving efficiency and reducing manual effort
• Leverage AI tools to enhance evidence review, data synthesis, and reporting preparation
