Manager, Product Marketing, Merchant Cloud – Global Acceptance and Merchant Solutions
Overview
The Mastercard Merchant Cloud marketing team is part of Mastercard’s Global Acceptance + Merchant Solutions team, whose mission is to make commerce simpler for merchants, to enable their growth.
Merchant Cloud is Mastercard's unified, open acceptance platform that simplifies how merchants and merchant service providers access payment and commerce services globally. Through a single integration, customers can configure modular gateway, fraud, authentication, tokenization, optimization and data services - alongside select partner solutions.
The Merchant Cloud Product Marketing Manager sits at the intersection of product, sales, and the wider marketing team. By working in close collaboration with Global Product teams, they will translate product documentation and technical capabilities into compelling value propositions that resonate with numerous customer segments.
By developing clear, comprehensive and compelling material that acts as the foundation for wider marketing activities and sales conversations, this role plays a pivotal role in maximising the distribution and usage of our services across our customer and partner base, as well as strengthening Merchant Cloud’s position as a leading merchant payments solutions provider, as part of the Mastercard brand.
Role
• Execution of plans to drive Merchant Cloud strategic priorities, developing strong foundation for long term success.
• Work closely with the Merchant Cloud product teams to craft and recommend product value propositions that are customer-led, crisp and competitively positioned.
• Lead the delivery of foundational product marketing across the portfolio, with a focus on developing a single source of truth across key product marketing assets.
• Leverage product documentation from product managers for all new and existing capabilities to ensure product marketing assets are maintained and always up to date with our latest capabilities, services, use cases and more.
• Gather market and competitive intelligence and apply these insights into compelling product value propositions.
• Recommend and co-identify key product, segmentation, and positioning opportunities by leveraging data and insights.
• Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to develop launch strategies for new products.
All about you
• At least seven years’ marketing experience, particularly in B2B product marketing for complex technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans against strategic priorities using data, insights and other tools to continuously optimize the approach.
• Strong track record and achievements in developing and delivering strong fundamental product marketing.
• Proven success on guiding sales enablement and marketing efforts for B2B audiences by translating technical product information into compelling commercial sales and marketing assets.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully integrate marketing assets across channels and platforms, using metrics and measurement tools track success and impact.
