The Role:
Our Bedford, MA site is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for weekend shifts (Friday to Monday 10 AM to 8 PM) to join our ESC Operations team. This Hands-on role involves assembly, operating Hi-Vac metal sputtering and PECVD equipment, as well as wet Etch operations used in the manufacturing of E-Chucks. Ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail, be comfortable working in a clean room or controlled environment, and willing to cross train in multiple areas to support changing business needs.
What You Will Do:
Follow all safety best practices and wear required PPE while on the production floor.
Operate high vacuum coating tools to deposit high purity coatings on products.
Set up fixtures, de-fixture parts, and operate multiple pieces of vacuum and processing equipment.
Monitor product and tool quality closely; report any deviations to your Lead or Supervisor promptly.
Execute planned WIP as directed by your Lead and communicate any delays or misses.
Perform periodic tool refreshes and complete basic equipment maintenance according to run schedules.
Conduct visual and metrology-based inspections in alignment with quality procedures.
Provide feedback to Engineers on potential process improvements when applicable.
Work collaboratively with your partner and Lead to achieve full operational efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Entegris 6S guidelines.
Record work confirmations in SAP and enter inspection or production data into Camline.
Actively participate in shift pass downs to communicate safety, quality, and production priorities.
Follow work instructions and complete work orders and other required documentation accurately.
Update pass down notes to ensure continuity and successful job completion.
Demonstrate and promote Entegris PACE values in daily work.
What We Seek:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience (Machine operation, a plus)
Must be able to work Overtime when needed.
Able to work around chemicals (including but not limited to IPA, Acetone, FeCl, HCL)
Fluency in English is required for training purposes.
Able to lift 40lbs and stand for almost entire shift.
Ability to work in a cleanroom.
Computer Skills (SAP/CamLine a plus)
Flexibility to be trained and cross trained in other departments
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Self-starter is capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.
An ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality, is dependable, and will work collaboratively within a team, and possess a positive attitude.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Problem Solving – Recognizes problems and understands root cause analysis techniques/concepts.

Pay range is $22/hr-$26 per hour depending upon experience.
