Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Market Enablement First Line Manager to join our Supply Chain (SC) Strategy & Supplier Development team in Arlington, Virginia.
Seeking a Market Enablement First Line Manager to lead a Supply Chain Strategy team, turning market opportunities into executable, risk-balanced programs and rolling out a standardized supplier development model. This hands-on leader will drive end-to-end delivery, liaise with the Washington, DC office, and develop a high-performing team.
Our team is currently hiring for a Level K Market Enablement First Line Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages Supply Base Management Specialist employees performing activities related to supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
Monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Provides oversight, guidance and approval of supply base plans to ensure integration with customer, program and commodity strategies.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
5+ years of experience working with Supply Chain Management or Program Management
5+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s degree
Program management certification (PMP or equivalent) or demonstrable program governance experience
Experience implementing operating models, process standardization, or supplier development frameworks
Prior exposure to government engagement or Washington, DC office interfaces preferred
Background in aerospace, defense, procurement, or commercial program management a plus
Demonstrated experience converting strategic objectives into executable plans and driving end-to-end delivery
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills with experience preparing executive-level materials and leading governance reviews
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, escalate appropriately, and resolve cross-functional conflicts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven status reporting
