Essential Functions:
Balance multiple tasks and prioritize critical tasks.
Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with our ISO13485 standard and must have good documentation practices
Thoroughly and accurately complete documentation (completes batch records with compliance with GDP, get necessary verifications, document problems, bring deviations to the attention of the Team Leader/Supervisors). Identify and communicate errors in documentation.
Update various Production/QC reports and spreadsheets. (Basic knowledge of Microsoft word/Excel)
Demonstrate good time management resulting in efficiency. Support cost improvement initiatives by reducing failures, improving capacity and using supplies wisely.
Inform appropriate people about problems/questions; be prepared to discuss problems/questions clearly within Thermo Fishers PPI business system (Tiered meeting).
Work in a safe manner and follow all the departments EHS initiatives including wearing full PPE and raise and identify any hazards within the department. Be familiar with COSHH and Risk Assessments.
Give and receive constructive criticism.

Support the department’s annual goals and objectives
Material Handler (S2)
As Above
Receive finished goods on a daily basis. Verify the type and amount of materials received are correct and that the appropriate documentation is present. May maintain records and assist in maintaining databases confirming the status of material received.
Examine, store and deliver materials according to established procedures and customer requirements.
Prepare routine documentation
Prepare and ship finished goods in a timely manner
Keep customers informed of the status of shipments
May prepare reports on shipping volumes, cost and efficiency
Ensure area is kept clean and in good condition.
Order daily stores and ensure correct delivery
May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma/ relevant Secondary Education exam results. Willing to consider outstanding candidates with no formal academic qualifications.
Experience:
Required: Requires a minimum of two years related experience. The proven ability to independently follow policies and procedures, written and verbal instructions and to meet schedules required.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Works in a laboratory environment. Is required to lift up to 40 lbs. May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials and wear the correct personal protective equipment. Must be able to work overtime and flexible shifts.
