Nurse Practitioner – Adult Primary Care

The Section of Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Primary Care Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse and multicultural patient population.
As a member of a large, collaborative primary care team consisting of more than 70 physicians and advanced practice providers across six clinical suites, you will serve as a Primary Care Provider delivering comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients.
Position Highlights
Full-time opportunity
In-person, patient-facing role
Monday through Friday schedule
One evening clinic per week
Two Saturday clinics per year required
Opportunity to care for a diverse, multilingual patient population
Faculty appointment with Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Conduct routine wellness visits and same-day sick visits
Provide preventive care and chronic disease management
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Develop evidence-based treatment plans
Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
Collaborate within a team-based, patient-centered medical home model
Qualifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience required
Prior Primary Care experience strongly preferred
Experience caring for culturally diverse and underserved populations preferred
Strong communication and patient engagement skills
New graduates will not be considered

Compensation Range:
$53.85- $78.13
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
