Job Overview:
This role ensures digital accessibility across products and services to support inclusive experiences for all users, including those with disabilities. It leads accessibility initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility into design, development, and testing processes. The role combines technical expertise in accessibility standards and software development with strong communication to influence organizational practices. Success is measured by the adoption of accessibility best practices, reduction of barriers, and improved accessibility compliance across products. The work enhances user experience and organizational commitment to accessibility, benefiting customers and employees alike.
Job Responsibilities:
Be the technical lead for a team of highly qualified digital accessibility coaches, help assign the work, support the work, ensure alignment with the different product teams being supported, help ideate and support tools creation, and be the overall contact person on digital accessibility.
Lead cross-functional collaboration to embed accessibility requirements throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance and inclusivity
Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to product teams to build internal accessibility expertise and ownership
Conduct accessibility assessments using automated tools and manual reviews to identify and prioritize issues for resolution
Monitor industry accessibility standards and trends to inform continuous improvement and innovation in accessibility practices
Communicate accessibility strategies and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders to align organizational goals
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
7-10 years • A relevant combination of education and experience in front end development.
• Expert level understanding of HTML, CSS, working knowledge of JavaScript and a reasonable familiarity with frontend frameworks like, Angular or React.
• Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, and how assistive technologies work.
• Strong organizational skills combined with a self-motivated, self-starter, go getter
• Has experience working in an agile team and/or cross teamwork environment

Base Pay Range: $140,200 - $253,000
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
