Braze is growing and seeking someone to help us scale our Procurement operations. Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, this new position on the Finance team will be responsible for global activities related to the procurement of corporate goods and services including technology, marketing, facilities, etc. We are looking for someone who can collaborate extremely well with internal partners like Accounting, Legal, and Finance as well as internal stakeholders to develop and execute our procurement to pay lifecycle to align with business requirements and exceed objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Purchase Order creation and tracking
Collaborate with Business Owners to monitor and manage Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders throughout the PR/PO lifecycle; including business partner outreach, updating ownership and closing out POs.
Support for EMEA/APAC DocuSign contract routing
Entering/Correcting/Tracking existing and new vendor contract details
Vendor contract renewal reminders for business owners
Manage invoice issues and get them fixed in collaboration with Accounts Payable
Manage the vendor onboarding process
Help aggregate and archive all existing and future vendor contracts to a centralized location
Assist and train end users with the creation of Purchase Orders and all other P2P activities
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or partner management.
Some technology contract experience with SaaS, Subscription, and Marketing is a plus, but not needed
Financial, tech and process-savvy person who loves to improve processes, systems and tools that benefit our teams and internal customers and partners.
Team player with collaborative style and proven track record of building successful relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Enjoy learning new technology, and you have deep experience configuring and continuously improving various procurement operations tools, systems and supporting software tools like; Coupa, Netsuite, JIRA, Ironclad and contract management systems.
Sound judgment with the knowledge to resolve complicated matters while maintaining integrity and confidentiality.
