Cadence is seeking a dynamic and strategic product configuration and data analyst with more than 5 years of hands-on experience and governance of product master data and who will be responsible for day-to-day business operations in managing the central and authoritative record of all types of product-related data in Cadence.
Position Summary
The Product Configuration & Data Analyst plays a dual role in managing product data integrity and supporting system configuration across the quote-to-cash ecosystem.
This position is responsible for the data entry, administering and maintaining product definitions including pricing, business unit mapping, features, and release versions.
The role also encompasses configuring system rules, workflows, and parameters within product and pricing applications, requiring close collaboration with IT teams managing the underlying platforms and business processes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in product operations, data management, or a related analyst role.
Experience with product configuration, pricing, or master data management.
Familiarity with quote-to-cash (QTC) or order management processes is a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data modeling.
Experience with ERP or product management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Pimcore)
Basic SQL or data querying skills & Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Core Competencies
Ability to utilize industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling and workflow analysis.
Strong attention to detail in managing product definitions, pricing, and pricelist publishing.
Ability to work cross-functionally across teams including sales, marketing, and fulfillment.
Strong communication skills to translate business requirements to IT/technical teams.

The annual salary range for California is $144,200 to $267,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
