Innovation Capability Solutions and Services (ICSS), part of Takeda's Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) organization, is home to more than 400 experts dedicated to developing the digital products and technologies that make this vision a reality.
As a Quality Labs Delivery Lead, you will lead complex software delivery programs that drive digital transformation across the organization. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee cross-functional teams and external partners, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives in regulated environments. This role is ideal for professionals with experience implementing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), such as LabWare, within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
How you will contribute:
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software programs, managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Define and execute program strategies, governance models, delivery roadmaps, and resource plans aligned with business priorities.
Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure strategic alignment and successful value realization.
Lead and mentor project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.
Establish governance, reporting, and communication frameworks to ensure transparency and effective decision-making.
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize delivery outcomes.
Oversee external vendors and consulting partners to ensure high-quality execution.
Deliver software solutions in regulated environments while ensuring compliance with GxP, GMP, GLP, SOX, and internal quality standards.
Lead initiatives involving Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including LabWare or comparable platforms.
Champion Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, and drive continuous improvement.
Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, and business outcomes.
Implement robust change control processes and promote best practices across the program lifecycle.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
5+ years of experience leading complex software delivery projects or enterprise-wide programs.
Proven experience working in regulated environments, including GxP, GMP, GLP, or SOX.
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), such as LabWare or similar platforms.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience with project and portfolio management methodologies and tools.
Financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
Ability to manage complexity, navigate ambiguity, and drive successful outcomes.
Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry is preferred.
Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is an advantage.
Knowledge of FDA regulations, including cGMP and GLP.
Experience supporting laboratory or R&D environments is preferred.
Fluent communication skills in English are essential (near-native or native level preferred); strong German language skills are highly desirable.
Business-level Japanese language skills are considered a plus.

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 5.710,82 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary is higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
