About our Team:
The Quantitative Insurance Solutions team is part of Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions and partners with insurance and institutional clients around the world to solve complex investment challenges.
We work closely with portfolio managers, risk professionals, client teams, and quantitative specialists to develop analytical insights, portfolio solutions, and investment strategies. Our work combines quantitative research, portfolio analytics, optimization techniques, and custom modelling to support informed investment decisions.

How You Will Add Value
You will develop quantitative models and analytical tools.
You will perform simulations, optimization analyses, and portfolio analytics.
You will support asset allocation and portfolio construction projects.
You will investigate and resolve complex analytical issues.
You will improve existing processes through automation and scalable solutions.
You will develop customized analytical solutions based on client needs.
You will evaluate quantitative methodologies and recommend enhancements.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience, Education & Certifications
Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Approximately 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in quantitative analysis, modelling, investments, risk management, insurance, research, or similar analytical environments.
PhD or academic research experience is considered an advantage.
Exposure to fixed income markets is beneficial but not required.
Technical Skills
Strong Python programming skills.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience building quantitative models and analytical solutions.
Knowledge of optimization, simulation, or statistical techniques.
Experience working with financial, market, or risk-related data.
Experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, Yield Book, POINT, or similar analytical platforms is a plus.
Exposure to machine learning techniques is beneficial.
