The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales, expanding market share, and accelerating adoption of Mosaic Biosciences and Advanced Crop Nutrition (ACN) products. Working closely with Account Managers and Field Solutions Agronomists, this role leads sales execution, customer engagement, and demand-generation initiatives to drive revenue growth, increase market penetration, and achieve commercial objectives.
The role partners with agronomy and marketing teams to deliver consistent, science-based messaging, position ACN solutions, and communicate their agronomic and economic value. The RSM also collaborates on field trials and demonstrations that validate product performance, support new product introductions, and drive customer adoption.
Location: This Retail Sales Manager position will cover Eastern Canada calling on Quebec/Maritimes region and candidate must be bilingual English/French.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for driving demand generation and achieving ACN (Bioscience and Performance Products) sales growth targets within the assigned territory. Partners with Account Managers, Field Solutions Agronomists, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute customer-specific go-to-market strategies, forecast true demand, and identify growth opportunities. Serves as a trusted advisor to retail agronomists and sales teams, communicating the value and profitability of ACN solutions while aligning customer plans with marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, generate demand, and accelerate portfolio adoption.
Partner with Field Solutions Agronomists to deliver consistent agronomic positioning, customer training, and technical support for the ACN portfolio. Lead product training events, field days, and customer forums to drive awareness and adoption, while supporting the development of training, sales enablement tools and materials. Monitor market trends and competitive activity, and collaborate on field trials that validate product performance, generate data, and support new product introductions.
Partner with Marketing to support co-branded campaigns, customer events, and product promotions that build brand awareness, brand preference and drive ACN adoption. Monitor market and competitive activity, Proficiency in using Salesforce for effective CRM activities, competitive activity, execute and document customer ACN training events and utilize for sales reporting. lead management, customer engagement, and reporting.
Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety by putting people, customers, and the environment first in all activities. Conducts business with integrity, professionalism, and sound ethical judgment while ensuring compliance with company policies and values. Effectively deploys CIF resources to maximize return on investment to accelerate ACN adoption and drive profitable sales growth.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Marketing, Agronomy, Soil Science or related field.
5-7 years of high-level sales and/or marketing experience.
Bilingual English/French
CCA preferred
Strong background with proven success in proprietary products or technology driven markets such as traits, specialized agronomic products and/or services. Strong agronomic understanding. Retail experience and or vast understanding of retail trends and business operation.
