Job Description
Do you have an insatiable curiosity and passion for science? Do you want to partner with Principal Investigators at the top research institutions in the world to accelerate their life's work? We are seeking a dedicated and science-savvy Senior Account Manager to lead our relationships with key R1 universities in the SF Bay Area or Northeast US.
NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform is the scientific instrument transitioning research from traditional sequential computing to massively parallel, neural networks driven digital labs. Our full-stack platform includes supercomputers, the CUDA programming model, and hundreds of libraries, frameworks, and models. From BioNeMo for structural biology, Parabricks for genomics, Omniverse for 3D virtual worlds, and RAPIDS for data science, to CUDA-Q for hybrid quantum-classical computing, PhysicsNeMo for physics-informed AI, and Earth-2 for climate modeling, we are empowering the next scientific breakthroughs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Institution and Government Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to university partners, communicating NVIDIA's vision, technology roadmaps, and research impact.
Grow the Business: Champion organic business growth, forecast revenue, and collaborate with IT and business partners on go-to-market strategies.
Research Community Partnership: Forge strong connections with leading research labs and Principal Investigators across diverse scientific domains (e.g., AI/ML, life sciences, physical sciences, climate science, engineering, and materials science). You will understand their grand challenges and keep a pulse on emerging computational methods.
Strategy Execution: Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional NVIDIA teams (Solution Architects, Developer Relations, Product Management, Business Units, etc.) and university partners to accelerate science on NVIDIA’s platform.
Ecosystem Enablement & Adoption: Drive broad awareness, adoption, and impactful utilization of the NVIDIA platform across assigned institutions. For example, you will guide a materials scientist toward batched conformer searches using ALCHEMI, a climate scientist toward CorrDiff within Earth-2, or an aerospace engineer toward Fourier Neural Operators via PhysicsNeMo.
Continuous Learning: Demonstrate the determination to develop a strong understanding of scientific trends in key domains and the capabilities of NVIDIA's full technology stack.
Ability to travel 20% or more as needed
What We Need to See:
12+ years of experience in roles involving science. Experience navigating research universities and engaging collaborators from university leadership to Principal Investigators and IT directors is highly desirable.
Curiosity: A demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and a curiosity about science is required. We value a thoughtful person with deep technical depth.
BS degree or equivalent experience, or comparable professional background. An advanced degree (MS, PhD or equivalent experience) in a scientific or technical field is highly advantageous.
Drive: A dedicated, self-motivated professional with the courage to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.
Location: Local to either the SF Bay Area or Northeast US
