Job Description
The Senior Data Scientist exercises good judgment, working with minimal instruction to serve as a technical leader who drives data-driven decision making and shapes analytical approaches across projects. This role is responsible for resolving moderately complex data issues and managing data pipelines that impact the organization’s operational goals.
What you will do:
Develop methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze large qualitative and quantitative data sets (support case and escalation data, retrospective feedback, etc.) to generate trends and actionable insights leading to the identification of escalation root causes and resulting improvement opportunities.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques and conduct advanced data analysis to develop innovative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Proficiently leverage AI-assisted development tools, such as Git/Github/Gitlab, Gemini, Granite and Cursor, to optimize code generation and auto-completion to continuously enhance code quality and resulting analytical insights.
Leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) and modern machine learning techniques to extract insights from unstructured text and complex workflows.
Build automated data pipelines to streamline complex analytical and operational processes across the organization.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Data analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with deploying machine learning models via APIs (e.g., FastAPI) and working with modern databases (including vector databases) for unstructured data.
Demonstrated solid analytical and statistical proficiencies, with proven experience in extracting actionable insights from diverse data sources, encompassing both quantitative assessments and qualitative inputs.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) technologies and experience in developing methodologies and systems that allow algorithmic models to parse, interpret, and generate actionable insights from unstructured, complex, and heterogeneous data sources.
Familiarity with deploying machine learning models and working with modern databases for unstructured data.
Proficiency in Python and NLP techniques, with a strong ability to build models that parse, interpret, and generate insights from complex text data..
Reporting experience and use of tools like Tableau, SFDC, SQL, Jira, and the Google suite is a plus.
Solid organizational and project management skills, superior attention to detail.
Motivation and curiosity, with a passion for data analytics and problem solving, coupled with a customer centric mindset.
The ability to thrive in a multicultural, collaborative, and open team environment, often involving shared ownership of project deliverables.
