What you'll own- InP - Finance Shared Services Analyst I
Perform and oversee complex reconciliations of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Investigate and resolve high-level discrepancies, escalating critical issues to management as necessary.
Review and approve reconciliation reports prepared by junior and mid-level analysts.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to the reconciliation team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address reconciliation challenges and implement solutions.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency and accuracy.
Develop, document, and enforce best practices for reconciliation processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present reconciliation summaries and recommendations to senior management.
Mentor and train junior and mid-level staff, fostering professional development within the team.
Monitor aged items and work to resolve them promptly to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in account reconciliation, financial analysis, or a similar role.
Proven track record of handling complex reconciliations and process improvement initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and reconciliation tools.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and financial reporting.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
Leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding team members.
