DESCRIPTION:
Discover Impactful Work: As a Service Contract Coordinator at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in managing service contracts and ensuring smooth order processing. This position requires strong financial operations skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various teams to meet targets and deliver results.
Location Specific Information: This is an on-site role, working out of our Burlington, Ontario Canada office.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Contract Management:
Book and invoice service contracts accurately and efficiently
Create service contracts using Salesforce.com
Coordinate with the field service team to determine service commencement and invoicing timelines
Communicate order status to internal and external customers
Identify and resolve issues preventing proper and timely order processing
Review provided information and reach out to appropriate parties to resolve conflicts
Create purchase orders for third-party services
System and Tool Proficiency:
Utilize Navision and Salesforce.com for order processing and contract creation
Employ Clari, Excel, and Power BI for forecasting bookings and revenue
Cross- functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Field Service, and Finance teams
Contribute to delivering forecasted results as part of a cohesive team
Liaise with field service team to ensure smooth service delivery and invoicing
Communication and Reporting:
Provide regular status updates to team members
Prepare and distribute reports on order processing and forecasts
REQUIREMENTS:
Keys to Success
Education:
University Degree or College Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience in financial operations
Experience:
3+ years of proven experience in financial operations, sales operations, or a related role
Strong experience in booking and invoicing processes
Proficiency in utilizing Navision, Salesforce.com, Clari, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to process orders in a timely fashion
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong desire to meet targets and communicate status to team members
Excellent problem- solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts
Maintain high sensitivity to confidential information

Compensation
The salary range estimated for this position based in Ontario is $62,100.00–$75,000.00.
