The Role: Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Solutions Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. What You’ll Do: Review and research literature for the project, design a test plan and review it with your mentor Collect, interpret and review the experimental data regularly with the team Draw sound scientific conclusions based on data analysis Use critical thinking and problem solving, to determine next steps for project. Assist Applications team in ongoing projects with testing and evaluation of existing/new membranes and products Perform membrane level tests focusing on understanding the filtration/purification characteristics of membranes for different types of contaminants What We Seek: Candidate should be detail-oriented, and be able to solve complex problems using a methodical approach with rational thinking Excellent laboratory skills with a focus on safety Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced working environment Have past practical experience in handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment and working with acids, bases and solvents Candidate should be familiar in using Microsoft Excel to review large amounts of data and draw sound conclusions Successful candidate will be able to work independently and with team members on projects that supports future product development. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of Dec 2026 or later. Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September. Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: On site required; includes standing/sitting, walking through production plant/Lab.
