YouTube | X | Instagram | LinkedIn | News As a Sr. Product Manager at Carbon Robotics, you represent the voice of the customer to the product team with a deep understanding of customer’s product needs and what technology-based capabilities are required to meet those needs. In this role, you will help define the product roadmap through customer interviews and market research & analysis. Working with stakeholders and leadership, you will prioritize the product backlog to ensure that the team is working on features that maximize business value and deliver necessary functionality to their customers. What you’ll do: Collaborate with the business stakeholders, engineering managers, and product teams to define product requirements, functionality and priorities Use global processes to thoroughly understand the scope, complexity and dependencies of the business and what product functionality is needed Communicate with the cross functional teams to ensure alignment across products within a product family Responsible for collaboration of full end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to decommission with product teams Travel extensively to field and farm, visiting with customers, prospects, and sales. We estimate 25% - 40% travel (home most weekends) for this role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success: Technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer preferred Experience with autonomous vehicles, heavy machinery, and / or robotics preferred. Advanced Product Manager knowledge working with large scale industrial or agricultural equipment Customer understanding and ability to implement product roadmap in support of business strategy Proven ability to rapidly articulate and drive strategic trade off decisions Extensive experience working in industry / business functional area Proven execution in defining and building customer & market driven needs through data driven requirements documentation Strong understanding of technical terms, processes, and practices of products within scope Ability to use analysis to prioritize business value Proven communication skills; highly credible with customers; proven customer focus, empathy and design thinking Highly collaborative and ability to influence without authority; proven ability to develop productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical partners, proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder views, opinions and needs Comfortable getting out there and talking to customers Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions.
