ABOUT THE ROLE:
Basis is in rapid growth-mode and looking to 3x our headcount within 12 months! We are looking for a Sr. Recruiting Coordinator to join our small but mighty Talent Team to own all virtual and onsite scheduling.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting our Head of Talent in managing & optimizing everything associated with candidate interviews.
We’re looking for someone attentive to details, collaborative, and process-oriented. In this role, you’ll work with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to schedule interviews and guide candidates through the process.
It’s a fast-moving role with real ownership and visibility. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love turning chaos into momentum, we’d love to hear from you.
📍 Location: NYC, Flatiron office. In-person team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, people operations or a fast-paced administrative role.
- Extreme attention to details to spot inconsistencies before they become issues; double-check schedules, and ensures every candidate email, link, and calendar invite is accurate.
- Ability to multi-task - juggle dozens of candidates and interview loops at once, prioritizing ruthlessly and context-switching smoothly all the while moving fast to ensure candidates are moving through the process swiftly.
- Service mindset when communicating with candidates to ensure the highest quality of candidate experience.
- Passion for both people & AI to deliver top human candidate experience while using AI tools thoughtfully (e.g., drafting comms, summarizing notes, detecting scheduling patterns) to work smarter and scale impact.
- Fast learner and flexible operator

WHAT WE’D LOVE TO SEE:
- Experience with our ATS, Ashby.
- An operational mindset that understands how each part of the recruiting process within the ATS influences data cleanliness and reporting.
- Ability to design optimal scheduling and coordination workflows that minimize friction end-to-end.
